About the course

This course ensures people leaders have the required skills to respond to inappropriate workplace behaviours (bullying, discrimination, harassment and sexual harassment) — safely, effectively, in real time and at the lowest level possible.

The course enhances participants’ understanding of drivers and risks of inappropriate workplace behaviours and their impact on both the affected person and workplace culture more broadly. Additionally, the course includes strategies for people leaders to address inappropriate workplace behaviour, and methods for promoting a healthy workplace culture as people leaders.

What you’ll learn

After completing this course you will have:

  • increased knowledge and understanding of the nature, drivers and risks of inappropriate workplace behaviours

  • increased understanding of legal and regulatory obligations

  • the ability to apply skills and strategies for responding to disclosures and reports of inappropriate workplace behaviours

  • increased ability to prevent inappropriate workplace behaviours and to promote a healthy workplace culture.
