Inclusion@Work: Creating an inclusive workplace

Delivered in-person

About the course

Conscious Inclusion is a practical and reflective training session designed to help leaders and team members become more aware of the everyday decisions, behaviours, and assumptions that shape workplace culture. Through this session, participants learn how to move beyond good intentions and develop the skills to notice, question, and address exclusion — wherever it occurs.

The session unpacks how unconscious bias, power dynamics, and systems of privilege can impact workplace experiences, particularly for people from underrepresented or marginalised groups. Participants explore the concept of inclusive decision-making and are introduced to practical tools for fostering psychological safety, equitable opportunities, and respectful collaboration.

Through real-world examples, discussion, and guided reflection, the session empowers individuals to become more deliberate and accountable in creating inclusive environments — not just by policy, but in everyday interactions.
