Inclusion@Work: Understanding inclusive leadership

Delivered in-person

About the course

This interactive training session introduces people leaders to the core principles and practices of inclusive leadership. It explores what inclusion means in today’s workplaces and why it’s critical for creating high-performing, safe, and equitable teams. Participants will examine the difference between belonging and inclusion, unpack how power, privilege, and inequality can create barriers, and learn how to actively dismantle these challenges in their own leadership practice.

Through case studies, self-reflection, and group discussion, the session highlights the behaviours that define inclusive leadership and their impact on team engagement, innovation, and wellbeing. Leaders will walk away with a clearer understanding of how to lead inclusively — not just in principle, but in everyday decisions, conversations, and workplace culture-building efforts.
