About the course

This course enhances participants’ understanding of what constitutes sexual harassment and its impact on both the affected person and the workplace culture. It includes strategies for recognising sexual harassment, identifying the drivers of gendered violence in the workplace and becoming an active bystander.

What you’ll learn

After completing this course you will have:

  • increased knowledge and understanding of the nature, drivers, and prevalence of sexual harassment

  • increased understanding of the relevant legal frameworks and obligations, with a focus on the role of power imbalances as a driver of sexual harassment

  • ability to recognise sexual harassment when it occurs and to apply active bystander skills to promote a safe and healthy workplace culture

  • increased ability to prevent inappropriate workplace behaviours and to promote a healthy workplace culture.
