About the course

This 30 minute eLearning course is designed to enhance Directors’ understanding of their obligations under the Workplace Gender Equality Act and related instruments (WGE legislation).

Regulatory focus and public reporting on actions to support workplace gender equality continue to expand, with employers with 500 or more employees required to set gender equality targets from 2026. Ensuring you have a deep understanding of how to drive gender equality in your organisation has never been more important.  

This course is aligned with element 3.1.3 ‘Culture’ of the AICD Corporate Governance Framework, and is valued at 5 DPD Units.

What you’ll learn

After completing this course you will have:

  • an increased understanding of the WGE legislation

  • an increased understanding of employers’ reporting and compliance obligations, including the new requirement to set gender equality targets

  • practical tools for how you can drive gender equality in your organisation.
